Emese Badi and Minka Popovic, a Hungarian-Serbian piano duo, emerged from the class of Prof. Cordelia Höfer-Teutsch at the University of Mozarteum, Salzburg. The two have separated during their Master studies with professors Imre Rohmann and Eldar Nebolsin respectfully and resumed their collaboration upon return to Salzburg, where they are currently based. Differences in background and experiences as chamber musicians shaped their unique style as a piano duo, where a part of the adventure is discovering unusual repertoire and freely exploring their artistic expression. This 10-year-long friendship and artistic partnership has led them to perform in numerous concert halls across Austria, the most notable being the Marmor Hall of the Mirabell Palace Salzburg and the Wiener Saal of the Stiftung Mozarteum Salzburg.
